2 Litre Hot Rods Construction Rules
1. Top plate and mounting posts to remain and to be used to secure battery 2. Rear axle bearings are allowed 3. 50T or 48T spur gear only 10-18T pinion no modification of motor blocks 4. Standard hook style rear mounts and post or catch style front mounts to be used. 5. Stock Rod Batteries only 6. Battery connectors are free to be changed for any commercially known type. 7. Servo saver and track rods can be upgraded 8. The use of caster and roll centre adjusting washers are permitted. 9. Free choice of tyres from Mardave/Kamtec/Ufra range 10. ESC's are allowed up to a max retail cost of £40.00 11. Any ABS or Lexan bodyshell can be used from the Mardave/Kamtec range. The windows must be clearly defined and the shell to be neatly finished with no rude or abusive slogans. 12. Rear wings are allowed but not exceed 25mm max chord and 150mm in length. 13. Fin plates may be fitted to wing but must remain in scale and look realistic 14. Motor heat sinks are allowed but only the clip on type 15. This class is aimed at a reduced cost hotrod class and drivers are expected to race and act within the spirit of the class.
