Thank you for showing interest in
1/12th and1/10th scale racing.
May I commence by giving you brief details of the sport.
The cars raced on Saturdays are Mardave, R12 Mini, R12 Rebel V12 and V12 Standard , powered by 4.8 volts batteries, or Saloon by 7.2 volt batteries. These are raced on a carpet oval circuit approximately 16 metres long by 6 metres wide.
The cars raced on Sundays are 1/10 Touring Buggies, 1/12 Bangers and Stockcars.
To start racing all that you will require is a basic Mardave V12, R12 Mini, R12 Rebel or 1/10 car plus a 2 channel radio control, the make of your choice.
The other requirement is a place to race.
This is where we come in.
We race indoors in a hall every alternate Saturday evening, commencing at approximately 6.00pm. The Club meets at
St Wilfrid's School, Eastern Road, Haywards Heath,
West Sussex.
We race alternate Sundays,commencing at approximately 10.00am. at St Wilfrid's School, Eastern Road, Haywards Heath,
West Sussex.
We are a club with members of all ages. There is a very friendly atmosphere and everyone is willing to help anyone who requires assistance in setting up the car or carrying out emergency repairs between heats.
